Terry Fox - Spirit of Amici social ride

Hello to all of my fellow Amici members.

The last few months have been a very interesting ride.

To date,  I have reached the top of each climb that has been put in front of me.

A great deal of that strength has come from my fellow Amici's who have reached out in loyal support. Louann and I thank you all.

I'm currently in between treatment 3 and 4, ( total of 6 )     In light of all this , it's Terry Fox weekend in Niagara.

So we thought that we could have an Amici Social ride and support a great cause that Terry Fox dedicated his life to.

The Terry Fox Foundation has been supported for years by Les and Peggy Potapczyk, they deserve a Gold medal for the work they've done.

If any of you are interested to help the Foundation,   ( no obligation please)  here's the link.

For those of you that are interested. Saturdays ride is an easy pace (20km - 25km per hr. )   ride from the Park to Kalar Rd.

Turn left on Kalar and go along all the way to Brown Rd. From Brown we'll make our way over to Oakwood.

At McLeod Rd we'll nip along the sidewalk for one block and then go the back way around Marineland to Chippawa.

Sorry, we're not stopping at Timmy's,  we're going  North along the Pkwy and up Bender hill to Italian Ice Cream for Cappuccino or Gelato.

After refreshments it's back to Firemans or for those of you from NF you can simply ride home.

Cheers and look forward to seeing you,  Gordon
