Turkey Point MTB Trip - June 17th

Hello MTBers!

We are planning the first MTB trip of the year, out to Turkey Point Provincial Park. The Turkey Point Mountain bike club maintains over 70km of trails out in the area of Turkey Point Provincial Park. These trails are graded by difficulty level, well marked and contain sandy soils which dry very quickly, even during rain.

The PLAN:

Ride from Turkey Point Provincial Park, do about 20k or so(2-3hours), depending on group composition and ability. Afterward, we may grill some stuff and have some adult beverages at the park.

Who: Any Amici Members, or anyone who wants to try it out, is welcome. Please RSVP on the Facebook Page.

Where:Turkey Point Provincial Park, approximately 1:45 from Firemen's Park.

When: 9AM Sunday, June 17th.

Distance: ~20k

What to bring: Mountain bike, Plenty of water, snacks, longish socks(for overgrowth on the trail) and a grillable meal for after we finish.

I will be also doing a pre-ride on Saturday, time & distance TBD.

Hope to see you there!
