Niagara's Cycling Clubs help donate to Community Care with a Cycling Cares donation

On Wednesday, February 3rd, 2016, Betty-Lou Souter, President of Community Care, accepted a cheque of more than $1600 from Niagara’s amazing cycling clubs. We call it Cycling Cares. When cycling club members make purchases at L!B, $1 of every $100 spent is collected for Community Care. Thank you all! Everyone wins!

How the Cycling Cares program works:

  1. Each time the member of an authorized Niagara-based cycling club or team buys at Liberty! Bicycles, $1 of every $100 spent (excluding HST) will be diverted to a special fund for Community Care (St. Catharines/Thorold). Note: Remember to mention you belong to APLVNCC.
  2. The Cycling Cares funding timetable is based on a calendar year. Community Care will be paid annually, in January, following Liberty! Bicycles' Financial Year End.
  3. Members of Amici Per La Vita Niagara Cycling Club can alternately choose to have their donation diverted to fund their own clubs; and if that is the case, those collected proceeds will be paid to the specific cycling clubs at the same time in January.
  4. Liberty! Bicycles will promote Cycling Cares on its website (and in advertising) using the logos of participating cycling clubs and teams, as well as those of Community Care.
  5. Liberty! Bicycles will promote Niagara's cycling clubs and teams which helping fund Community Care through their purchases at Liberty! Bicycles.
