Let's Give it Another Try - Brantford to Cambridge Fall Colours Gravel Ride

The long range forecast for Sunday, October 27th looks promising so we'll give Fall Colours gravel ride from Brantford to Cambridge along the Grand River another try.  The ride will follow the SC Johnson Trail from Brantford to Paris and then connect with the Cambridge to Paris Rail Trail on the east side of The Grand River to Cambridge.

Woodstock-St. Mary's Gravel Finale! (Nov. 2 or 3)

The last out-of-town gravel grinder of 2024 is ready and it's a good one! The ride is scheduled for Saturday Nov. 2 BUT WE MIGHT SWITCH TO SUNDAY NOV. 3 depending on the weather forecast. Plan to meet at the Pitcock Dam Parking Lot South for a 10 am start (467-453 Rivercrest Dr, Woodstock, ON N4S 5W5).

The 104 km route goes through scenic rolling farmland. No single track or "technical" bits. Highlights include:

• Almost 70 km of dirt!

• The entire Hickson rail trail!

Wed, Oct 2, C Ride from Stevensville Conservation Area (76 KM), 9 AM

Ride starts at 9am from Stevensville Conservation Area (2555 Ott Rd, Stevensville).  From QEW Sodom Road exit, head south to W. Main Street, turn right, continue to end of street, entrance to Conservation Area is directly across.  Park in lot at 2nd driveway.  Route includes Ridgeway, Crystal Beach, Port Colborne, Pie Guys (Port Colborne) and Lakeshore road, then returning to Stevensville.  Mostly country roads.
