Gord: Spirit of Amici

Amici, 

It is with heavy hearts we grieve together the passing of Gord.  Our thoughts and prayers are with Louann and family.

Gord came to our small cycling club with the same humbleness and spirit of generosity that he brought to competitive track cycling.  We have been truly blessed over the years to call him "friend" and we have all been enriched by his presence.  Whether he was giving advice on a seat adjustment, how to keep your bike clean, or just buying you a gelato, his love of the sport we also love shone through with kindness of spirit.

From Gord, we received the "Spirit of Amici" Award for our members.   Gord embodies this spirit.  He truly is a gentleman on a bicycle.
