On Thursday, October 17, 2019 the Shelley Gautier Para-Sport Foundation is hosting an inspiring evening titled JOURNEY BACK TO HEALTH.

Who would like to join us? We can purchase tickets @ $90 each ($720 for a table of 8) and you will receive a tax receipt for $50. Have a nice meal with your Amici and get inspired by this NF athelete!

BONUS! A speaker series and knowledge exchange over dinner. An information market 4:00-6:00 with Speakers and Health Care Practitioners Call to Dinner 6:00 pm.

The keynote address by Shelley Gautier will highlight this empowering real life story about a physiotherapist and avid athlete who goes from a rocky recovery after a cycling accident, to rocking the para-cycling world on her custom-made trike. The Foundation has a number of health professionals who have been part of the journey to develop solutions in para-sport and they will be onsite to provide ideas and a roadmap to a healthier life.

The Journey Back to Health event will be hosted at Club Italia with doors opening at 4:00 pm so guests have a chance to talk with health professionals at the information market in the lobby. Tickets are available for $100 which will include a Club Italia custom dinner which guest will enjoy while learning more about adaptive sport and the resources that encourages inclusive para- sport programs. Please consider purchasing tickets to support a Niagara athlete who saw a need while facing her challenges and found a solution so everyone could be inspired to do more.

The Shelley Gautier Para-Sport Foundation Dinner is an opportunity to celebrate the work done in our community, the power of access to the right equipment, and how each of us can leave the road better than we found it. Please go to www.sgpsf.ca for more details.

The net proceeds from the evening will make a difference. Education, para-cycling equipment and more access will break down barriers for people living with disabilities, enabling them to participate in para-sport activities. All monies raised in Niagara stays in the Niagara to purchase more para-cycling equipment
