We will leave Firemens turning off Mountain Road at the turnaround onto Mewburn meandering our way on a scenic ride through wine country and historic NOTL to St Catharines then up to Fenwick via Ninth Street climb, yeah. Maple Street to Canboro Fill and Chill Cafe for coffee approximately 53km. Back to the park riding through Fonthill crossing the canal on the ferry up Chippawa Creek Road making a left on Heartland with another left on Brown to Beechwood over to Beaversdam to Garner….to the Park. 93km. Come on out and have a fun B ride on what’s forecast as a perfect riding day. Avgspd 29km/hr. Ride speed will vary dependent on elevation and conditions. There are a couple of interesting segments if anyone is up for it. See you at the park for more details.

Additional Info: Come and join us this Sunday, June 21st for a gravel ride. The ride will be a clockwise loop around Wainfleet following gravel roads and hard pack rail trails. The gravel/trail ride is 65 km, with 60% gravel (hard packed gravel rail trail and gravel roads) and the balance paved road. Ideally, you should have a gravel road bike or a hybrid/mountain bike. Expect an average pace of 20 – 22 km/hr, plus or minus. The ride will start at parking lot of the Welland International Flatwater Centre off of Shaw Street in Welland. Start time for the ride is 9:00 a.m. Coffee stop at Black Sheep Coffee Roasters in Welland.

Additional Info: Come and join us on Sunday, May 3rd for a 47 km beginners gravel/road ride. The route is a mix paved and gravel paths looping around Thorold and St. Catharines. The route is 40% paved and 60% hard packed gravel trail and service roads. Ideally, you should have a gravel road bike or a hybrid/mountain bike with a minimum tire width of 30 – 35 mm. Expect an average pace of 20 – 22 km/hr, plus or minus. The ride will start from the public parking lot at the Welland Canal Centre at Lock 3 in St. Catharines. Start time for the ride is 9:00 a.m. There will be a refreshment break in Port Dalhousie.
