Amici Joins OutSpokin'Canada 150 Slow Roll Satruday, September 16

When:   Saturday Sept. 15, 8:30 am

What:   Take a ride from our usual start spot in Fireman's Park, through the vineyards to St. David's (30K).  In St. David's,at the Lion's park, we will join up with the Outspokin' Slow Ride group who are hosting a free community cycling event to Celebrate Ontario by bike.(16K).  Stay for the BBQ and return with the group or as you wish, to Fireman's Park (10K).   This will be an all levels ride, at a Rec pace.

Start from Fire Mans Park - head west toward the canal and down Mewburn to Queenston Road.  

Tuesday AB Ride

From Fireman’s down St. Paul. Faster group goes up Beavan, and down Queenston Heights… B-ish group goes all the way to York. We meet up again along the parkway before turning down Line 8 to connect with Concession 6, all the way to EW line then into NOTL the back-way, past Fort George. Stop at Park for washrooms. Along the water, past the Golf Course to Shakespeare before we head back to Lakeshore. Lakeshore, Left on 4 Mile Creek, Right on EW, Left on Townline, Right on Church, Right on Read, over Canal then race all the way to the old Frado’s. Cross the Homer Bridge.

Saturday B Ride - May 12th

 A nice flat ride for those B riders getting their legs.   Heading past the reservoir and the power plant,  through the falls before it gets busy, along the parkway, then back to Fireman's park the "back roads'.

(PS.  Ignore that the cue sheet says we start from the Regency... I am borrowing a ride from last year! ;-)

Regency to Parkway to Queenston, through the woods, York Rd. to Queenston Road, loop to Carlton Bridge up the path to Glendale, up Taylor, Warner and Mountain to Regency

Sunday Social Climbing

A sociable scamper from the Regency down through NOTL and back with a coffee break @ either Timmys or Balzacs in Olde Towne.  We will slip by Laura's homestead & the Mackenzie Printery en route to communing with General Sir Isaac Brock while ascending Queenston Heights followed by short hop back to the Regency.
