Ride to Fenwick

Should this not be a rainout, this is one of the propposed routes for our Solstice Weekend Rides.

Fun! Three climbs, 66.5 k, Fireman's to Effingham and back.

Two days before the Summer Solstice Rides, I thought an easy cycle through Pelham and Welland would be a wise lead-up to the 162 km rides on the weekend. The wind is supposed to be NE so we would have it against us returning to Fireman's Park but the route back meanders as well....the route is negotiable.The break is around 50kms at Timmie's on Merritville and Hwy 20

It's a "3 hour tour" but we won't get stranded on Gilligan's Island! Bring lights just in case, if we need to shorten the route there's an option to do so in Thorold on the return.

Over to the canal via Garner and across Biggar to Marshall and back along the parkway.

We'll ride to Welland along the Welland Canal Rec Trail, return via Merritt Island trail, Woodlawn crossover to Rec Trail again and over the Port Robinson Ferry and head back Home.
