Come join Linda and Marcus on a "Pop-Up" Sunday Social ride, not on the Calendar but those not doing the gravel ride are welcome to come. An easy Sunday morning pace, no hills, maybe an ice cream stop.
This Saturday, Aug 9, our rides will end at Whirlpool and Stanley where the official commemorative sign unveiling of Gord Singleton Way will take place. Complementary parking will be available at Stanley in the OPG parking lot and adjacent green area (the grassy knoll) . All Amici, whether riding that day or not, are invited to attend to honour Gord's legacy and connection to our Club.
For Amici Family ONLY, post ceremony, join us back at our "home base" of Firemen's Park for a sausage and bun (Louann Singleton generously donating). We will picnic in the shaded area near our bike stand.
To help arrange the food, you MUST RSVP your intention to join for the apres. BYOB and other snacks if you wish, for sharing.

Mountain Road was closed all day Friday Aug 1 from the east exit of the roundabout to Dorchester Rd. If it is still closed on Saturday morning you can use the following detour to get to Firemen's Park. https://www.strava.com/routes/3386558796918972088. The reverse of this detour can be used for rides going west on Mountain Road.
