Saturday, April 30 brought a group of 15 Amicis, old and new, out for our first "Welcome" ride. The chilly temperature almost scared some off (6 degrees) but the sun soon warmed us up. An ambitious 40K route (not bad for a STARTER ride) was planned and out we headed at a nice Rec Ride pace (20-22km/hr) We threw in a hilll at the end, with no complaints or challenges, and ended up back at the Regency all smiles. Thanks to those returning Amicis who came out to be our "welcoming faces" and helpers.
