Far Out Man! Long Steady Distance Ride to Grimsby. 109 km. Coffee stop at Station One in Grimsby. I suggest a steady pace of 30-32 km/hr, but we can work out our speed issue on the road. There are not a lot of hills on this route, but there is a fairly long climb out of Grimsby on 30 Rd., which is the least bad option, and a few uphill sections on Roland. The climb on 30 Rd. is mostly about 3% with one steep section which goes to 6%, then 9%, with a mercifully brief section at 14%. Even though I’m not the strongest climber, I was still able to manage it. So, take it at your own pace and we will regroup at the top. Route has been fully reconned, by car and bike, so there should be no surprises.
