Light southwest wind so we'll head out to Wainfleet and back through Welland.  Coffee stop at Black Sheep Coffee Roasters in Welland.

Come and join us this Sunday (May 18th) for a gravel ride.  The ride will be a clockwise loop around Wainfleet following gravel roads and hard pack rail trails.  The gravel/trail ride is 73 km, with 65% gravel (hard packed gravel rail trail and gravel roads) and the balance paved road.  Ideally, you should have a gravel road bike or a hybrid/mountain bike.  A tire width of 30 – 35 mm would be ideal.  Expect an average pace of 22 – 24 km/hr, plus or minus.
